Welcome to Nyangombe Christian Training Centre in Zambia.
Nyangombe Christian Training Centre (NCTC) is located in the African bush near Mwinilunga in the North Western Province of Zambia.
The primary thrust of NCTC is Bible teaching where practical Christianity is taught within the framework of Lunda culture. NCTC is a Christian campus where skills training in carpentry, building, metal fabrication and mechanical fitting, IT, dressmaking and design, agriculture and animal Husbandry are taught to equip young men and women in gaining either future employment or to earn an honest living through the utilisation of skills acquired.
NCTC is unique in the district and is the only combined Bible teaching and skills training centre within 100,000 square kilometres.
The Bible School
Nyangombe Bible School runs many different programmes. We train church leaders, we run women’s ministries and hold youth camps. On one occasion the Bible School hosted a youth camp of 4,000 children and 800 teachers! Our joy is to see our students encouraged and fired up for the Lord Jesus Christ as they go out preaching the gospel!
Skills Training
From the beginnings of Nyangombe Christian Training Centre (NCTC), there has been a strong emphasis of skills training for the Lunda people. Our motto is ‘the pursuit of excellence’ and this goal in training is always in focus. We provide training in carpentry & joinery, building, metal fabrication and mechanics, dress-making and design, IT and animal husbandry.
Support for the Community
Over the years Nyangombe Christian Training Centre has established and sustained a variety of community projects that continue to this day. These programmes include primary education, farming and IT training, a community health post and farming support to the community and pastors based in remote rural areas.
