Widows’ Hope Project

Some Nyangombe leaders are responsible to care for approximately seventy widows from the surrounding area. On 23 June 2022, these Hope Project leaders hosted a special gathering for warm blanket distribution.

The day included a showing of the Jesus movie and presentation of the gospel message in Lunda, their native tongue. All enjoyed the movie and the hot meal that followed.

The event culminated with the widows receiving the timely gift of a warm blanket as the cold season is upon us. The blankets were made possible by a generous donation from a UK church.
