Nyangombe Youth Camp

The Youth Camp was a tremendous success! Campers arrived on Friday and stayed at Nyangombe until the following Tuesday morning. The days were packed full of activities beginning with rise and shine at 0530 and concluding with lights out at 2200. The training center was alive with excitement as campers worshiped, participated in devotions, and played in volleyball, football and basketball tournaments. The dining hall filled with lively conversations over three amazing meals each day.

God brought the event together through many partners. A team of five from Cornerstone Church in the UK worked together with the Nyangombe team to present Biblical truths and oversee all of the activities. The supplies and the food were a generously donated. The meals were prepared by a tireless group of ladies that make up the Nyangombe kitchen crew and the campers all took turns with clean up duties.

The time together culminated with a time of spiritual intraspection. The heavens rejoiced as 39 youth accepted Christ and many others committed to living out their faith in their families and communities. God is at work in the Northwestern Province of Zambia!
