A Bridge for Children to Get to School Safely

A team from Nyangombe has partnered with missionaries and locals in Sachibondu to design and build a walking bridge over the Luakela River. Steel supports and concrete rings were cast at Nyangombe and transported to the river to create the pillars that support the foot bridge.

Primarily for children, the bridge will provide a safe way to cross the river on their way to and from school each day. The project is progressing well and anticipated to be fully operational before the rainy season begins.
