Amazing!

In June 2023, a young girl called Mary was brought by a family member to see if anything could be done to help her. We have seen much in Africa over the years but we could hardly believe that this young girl had a segment of bone protruding from her arm following an injury in 2016.

Mary when she came in June 2023

Over the years we have had the privilege to work on the field with consultant surgeons. An email with photos and X Rays winged it;s way to Dr Peter Gill in the UK who gave a detailed outline of what may need to be done. An opportunity arose for Mary to travel 500 kms to Chitokoloki Mission Hospital in mid July to see Dr David McAdam who had offered to try and assist Mary. We were so grateful to have had kind gifts enabling us to send her and her Mum to the hospital.

The joy of seeing Mary and her Mothertoday cannot be adequately expressed. She had lived with the bone segment protrusion for 7 years and today, 27th August 2023, she walks up smiling and shows where the bone used to be! Some around wept for joy but Mary just smiled and thanked the Lord for His goodness shown to her by all involved.
